SHANELL — SHIPPING POLICY

1. Introduction

At Shanell, we want your order to reach you safely and as quickly as possible. Please read our Shipping Policy carefully before placing your order. By purchasing from us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Where We Ship

We currently ship within South Africa. We are working towards offering international shipping in the future — follow us on our social media pages for updates.

3. Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding South African public holidays) after payment has been confirmed. Orders placed over weekends or on public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

During peak periods (such as sales, promotions, or holidays), processing times may be slightly longer. We will communicate any significant delays via email.

4. Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery Times

We ship via reputable courier services within South Africa. Estimated delivery times once your order has been dispatched are as follows:

  • Major cities (Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria): 2–4 business days
  • Other urban areas: 3–5 business days
  • Rural and remote areas (including Limpopo villages and farms): 5–7 business days

Please note that delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to courier capacity, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

5. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and the size/weight of your order. Any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.

We may offer free shipping promotions from time to time — these will be clearly communicated on our website.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number and a link to track your parcel. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active.

7. Delivery Address

Please ensure your delivery address is complete and correct at the time of placing your order. Shanell is not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, re-delivery costs will be for the customer's account.

8. Failed Deliveries

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful (e.g. no one available to receive the parcel), the courier will typically leave a notification and attempt re-delivery or hold the parcel at a collection point. Shanell is not liable for parcels that are returned due to failed delivery attempts. Re-delivery fees may apply.

9. Lost or Damaged Parcels

If your order arrives damaged, please take photos immediately and contact us within 48 hours of delivery at lavhelani001@gmail.com. We will work with the courier to resolve the issue and arrange a replacement or refund where applicable.

If your parcel appears to be lost in transit, please contact us at lavhelani001@gmail.com and we will investigate with the courier on your behalf. Please allow up to 10 business days from the estimated delivery date before a parcel is considered lost.

10. Risk & Ownership

Risk of loss and ownership of goods passes to you upon delivery of your order to the address you provided. We strongly recommend ensuring someone is available to receive your parcel.

11. Public Holidays

South African public holidays are not counted as business days. Orders will not be processed or dispatched on public holidays.
